Will content be behind a pay wall?

No it will not! All content will remain free and open to everyone.

Trailguide users and content creators have been concerned that access to content on Trailguide will now be behind a pay-wall after the introduction of Trailguide Premium.

The short answer is no.

All users will have access to all content, but there will be some restrictions to some of the features in the app, and the amount of time you can use the app per day.

Trailguide Premium required

Access to some features will be restricted to those users having a subscription to Trailguide Premium.

One of these features is the ability to download the .gpx-file of a trail so that it can be uploaded and used on your GPS device.

There will be restrictions the amount of time you can spend using the app per day. After the time limit has been reached, you will be greeted with a message telling you that you need a subscription to Trailguide Premium to continue.

You can purchase a subscription from the dialog that appears, or you can wait until the next day when the time limit resets.
